Jim has been with Resource Financial Services since its inception in 2008. He was previously employed at Community Resource Mortgage and has been in the industry for more than 14 years as a mortgage banker and insurance agent. He has built a strong reputation as one of Columbia’s premier mortgage bankers and strived to provide his clients with his utmost in product, service and delivery.

He is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a degree in marketing. Jim is a member of the South Carolina Mortgage Bankers Association, the Executive’s Association of Greater Columbia (EAGC), St Andrew’s Society of Columbia, Forest Lake Club and attends Eastminster Presbyterian Church. Jim is married to Jennifer Render Bowie and has two children, Madeline and Matthew. He enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, traveling, and anything associated with college sports.
